Tasting the LORD

"O taste and see that the LORD [is] good: blessed [is] the man [that] trusteth in him."

"O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for [there is] no want to them that fear him."

"The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good [thing]."

How true is this
That we often miss
Our chances to relate
With the God of fate
We seek our own ways
Gaining our own praise
But those things fade
And our souls downgrade
But if wee seek the source
There will be no remorse
For his spirit tastes good
As we always knew it would
So stop pretending your alone
Crying on the phone
Contact your Creator
Your Holy Father and Maker
And he will restore your spirit
Read his word--don't fear it!
For in God there is life
His spirit conquers strife
So go ahead, and pray
He is waiting for you today
He doesn't care what you have done
He just wants you to come to His Son.
