Though rough and sharp

Though hard and cold

It warms the heart

Because it's bold

Though loved and loathed

Though sought and sold

It will last forever

And is better than gold!

Though God ordained

And prophets foretold

It is here forever

It's origins of old

The truth is firm

It you can not mold

Don't bet against it

You might as well fold!




When God paves the way

Listen to his voice

It's better to obey

He holds a better choice.
